Archiving Policy & Digital Preservation

Commitment to Long-Term Preservation

Pinisi Journal of Digital Marketing (PJDM) is dedicated to ensuring the permanent availability, digital preservation, and uninterrupted accessibility of all its published scholarly content. To safeguard against technical failures, data loss, or server disruptions, the journal employs robust digital preservation systems and flexible self-archiving policies for authors.

Digital Archiving Systems (PKP Preservation Network)

PJDM is hosted on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP). The journal utilizes the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. This network allows libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration, ensuring that published research remains permanently accessible in perpetuity.

Author Self-Archiving Policy

Authors publishing with Pinisi Journal of Digital Marketing retain the right to archive and deposit all versions of their work (Submitted Version, Accepted Version, and Published Version/Publisher PDF) in:

  • Institutional digital repositories
  • Subject-based or national archives
  • Personal/academic websites (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu, ORCID)

Conditions for Self-Archiving: Authors are requested to provide full bibliographic details and include a direct link/DOI to the original publication on the Pinisi Journal of Digital Marketing platform.
