The International Journal of Educational Administration, Management, and Leadership (IJEAMaL) encourages constructive, evidence-based scholarly discussion of articles published in the journal. Post-publication discussion enables readers, researchers, academics, professionals, and practitioners to raise scholarly questions, clarify findings, present alternative interpretations, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in educational administration, management, and leadership.
All submissions must relate directly to a previously published IJEAMaL article and make a meaningful scholarly contribution. Submissions must be objective, respectful, supported by relevant evidence, and consistent with the journal's publication ethics policies.
IJEAMaL promotes respectful academic debate, evidence-based criticism, and transparent scholarly communication to strengthen research quality, reliability, and integrity. Post-publication discussion provides a mechanism for clarifying findings, examining scholarly arguments, and maintaining the accuracy of the academic record.
Letter to the Editor. A scholarly communication that comments on, questions, critiques, or discusses a previously published article in IJEAMaL.
Reply to the Letter. A response from the original author(s) addressing the questions, criticisms, or interpretations raised.
Article Classification. Letters and Replies are treated as scholarly communications, not as Research Articles or Review Articles.
Authors must identify the published article, explain the issues discussed, provide relevant evidence and references, and disclose competing interests and relevant funding.
The Editor-in-Chief or a designated editor assesses scholarly relevance, accuracy, originality, clarity, significance, and ethical compliance. Expert review may be sought when necessary.
Original authors will normally be invited to respond to Letters considered suitable for publication. Replies should address the issues objectively and provide appropriate evidence or clarification.
Publication of a Letter does not depend on the original authors agreeing with its arguments or submitting a Reply. If no Reply is received within the specified period, the journal may publish the Letter with an appropriate editorial statement.
Concerns about factual errors, questionable data, methodological weaknesses, or possible research and publication misconduct will be assessed under the journal's applicable ethical policies.
Depending on the evidence, appropriate actions may include a correction, an Expression of Concern, a retraction, or other editorial action. Relevant decisions will be documented transparently.
Accepted Letters to the Editor and Replies will be published as separately identified scholarly communications and linked to the original article where technically possible. All submissions must comply with the journal's applicable policies concerning authorship, plagiarism, competing interests, research ethics, copyright, and the responsible use of generative artificial intelligence (AI).
Authors remain responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and final content of their submissions. The journal may request revisions or reject submissions that do not meet its scholarly and ethical standards.
All post-publication discussions will be handled fairly, transparently, consistently, and impartially. Decisions will be based on scholarly merit, relevance, evidentiary support, and compliance with publication ethics, rather than personal relationships, institutional affiliation, or agreement with the arguments presented.
The Editor-in-Chief or a designated editor without a relevant conflict of interest will make the final editorial decision. Where a conflict of interest exists, the matter will be assigned to an appropriate independent editor. IJEAMaL will follow its editorial policies, relevant publication ethics principles, and applicable guidance from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
IJEAMaL considers constructive post-publication dialogue an essential component of responsible scholarly communication. Through transparent discussion, fair editorial assessment, and appropriate corrective action when necessary, the journal seeks to promote accountability, strengthen research quality, and preserve the integrity of the scholarly record in educational administration, management, and leadership.
